Label: Future Jungle Music

Title: FJmusic Compilation v.4

Release Date: Out Now

I got sent this late but it's got some very decent tracks on it so would be rude not to mention it.

BR selecta has come with the goods and brought together a package containing breaks & beats from an array of talent both well known and the not so much.

Ranging in BPM and flavour this will fit in to the sets of countless DJ's.

My personal faves are: Borai - The Deep..... 6Blocc - Ritual..... SW ft. CA - Cut Me Up (Iva Rave Mix) (which got the reload treatment on my www.sub.fm) and Outselect - Believe but are all worth a butchers!

Label: Torre

Title: Figures Of Eighty - Red Jacket (Agora Nixon & Pressa Remixes)

Release Date: Out Now

A strong remix package from the TorreXVI camp which includes a remix from myself but won't say much about that ha (it's a 130 breaks n bass, eyes down kind of affair).

On the other hand I will about the other two tracks. Two dark 130 BPM cuts of cavernous bass music from Agora & Nixon lending sounds and vibes from genres old and new to form something current or even futuristic!

This is for those that like it daaaarrrrrk, so don't sleep on it if you're that way inclined! ;)

A nice start to the year from Ned and Torre. Expect a lot from them this year and keep an eye on Rendah to hear it early (bar this review as I joined the team late)!

Label: Foto

Title: Foto Album: Volume 1 - FSVA01

Release Date: January 30th

As soon as I heard the first track, "Ruff" by Unkey, I knew this release had standards! That vacuum-like bassline sucks you in for the ride, RUFF!

The whole compilation is of a high level throughout and takes me back to the days of FWD>> on curtain road while still moving forward!

A dangerous slab of what is essentially Dubstep and Grime but would also fit in to the sets of Bass DJ's that like to mix it up too.

My personal faves are: Unkey - Ruff..... Hypho - Latex Glove..... Cartridge - Skinny White Latte..... and..... Fish - Signals but the whole package is toppa top!

The curation from Bethbethbeth & Khanum for their debut release on their new label is of a very high standard so I urge all 140 heads who like their beats dark and moody to get on this when it drops on January 30th 2019
